NBA legend Michael Jordan is one of the most popular athletes ever. Even though he has been retired for almost two decades now, his popularity has still not waned. The six-time NBA champion is not just an inspiration for basketball players around the world but also for athletes from other sports as well. Athletes from different sports respect MJ and look up to him owing to his incredible track record for winning and utter dominance. One such young athlete is Formula 1 legend Michael Schumacher’s son Mick Schumacher, who also revealed a unique wish concerning MJ a while ago.

Last year, Mick Schumacher was answering some online fan questions when a young fan asked him who he would like to have a meal with. Mick revealed he would love to share a meal with Michael Jordan and added his personal reasoning behind it. He also stated that he would like to hear Jordan’s story over a meal.

Mick Schumacher’s desire to have a meal with Michael Jordan

Mick Schumacher disclosed that he would like the understand the mind of a legend like Michael Jordan. He amitted that he would prefer a meal with His Airness over anybody else,“Maybe Michael Jordan. I think that would be interesting to obviously hear his story. And how, you know, obviously, he?s been the greatest in his sport and I think it?s interesting to also sometimes hear how some legends in different sports approach their career in a way.

“Yeah, I think that would be quite interesting,” he added.

It is interesting to see Mick’s eagerness to learn the ways of one of the best athletes ever. It is even more astonishing to think that it was coming from the son of one of the best F1 drivers ever.

Furthermore, Mick was born in 1999, after Jordan’s second retirement. So the chances of him watching MJ play for the Washington Wizards from 2001 to 03 are slim as well. However, like many youngsters, the 2020 Formula 2 champion is aware of the greatness of the six-time NBA champion. Even though Mick would have learned a lot from his legendary father, there is no denying that Jordan could teach him a few things about winning.

Michael Schumacher’s dominance

Michael Jordan and Michael Schumacher are two Michaels that dominated their respective fields like no other. Schumacher dominated Formula 1 for years driving for Ferrari most notably. He won two Driver’s championships during his time with Benetton. He then signed with Ferrari in 1996.

Schumacher then won five straight Driver’s championships from 2000 to 2004 cementing his legacy as one of the greatest drivers ever. Also, his record of seven championships still stands. Superstar Lewis Hamilton recently equaled the record.
