After going on a seven-game winning streak, the Dallas Mavericks recently lost back-to-back games to the Portland Trail Blazers. Even though Mavericks star player Luka Doncic played against the Blazers in the first matchup, he ended up having a rare off night. But Doncic was ruled out for their next game against Portland. Which may support the ?Send Help? mural that appeared in Dallas a while back. And now, billionaire owner Mark Cuban has finally given his two cents on it.
A couple of days back, a mural of Luka Doncic holding a ?Please Send Help? banner appeared. And it ended up spreading like wildfire on social media with fans slamming Cuban over the fact that he does not want to spend money on players and such.

The Dallas Mavericks owner finally broke the silence and managed to reach out to the artist who made the mural. Cuban emailed the artist and said that the mural was ?disrespectful.? However, many fans do not feel the same way.
Cuban did try to surround Doncic with star-caliber players early in his career however things did not work out. And now that Cuban has not made any major moves, fans are back at his throat yet again.

Another fan commented, ?What?s disrespectful is Mark Cuban dismantling that title winning team and not letting them try to defend their title bc he was trying to get Dwight Howard, Dirk never got out of the 1st round again He?s wasting Luka?s time with Dallas now, no way Doncic sticks around for this.?

Fans are convinced that if Cuban does not get any star player to help out Doncic on the floor, he will soon request a trade out of Dallas.
Will history repeat itself with Luka Doncic?

The Dallas Mavericks did trade for the seven-foot Latvian power forward, Kristaps Porzingis early during Luka Doncic?s career. And almost everyone was convinced that the duo of Doncic and Porzingis would do wonders for the Mavericks.
However, that stint was short-lived. It may seem like history is repeating itself once again. The Mavericks had paired Dirk Nowitzki with Steve Nash early in his career. But when things did not have an outcome, Nash left Dallas play with the Phoenix Suns and also ended up winning back-to-back MVP awards.

And Nowitzki had to wait almost another decade for a championship-contending team to be built around him. Hopefully, the same does not happen with Luka Doncic because he may not stick around that long to find out.
Do you think Doncic should wait a couple of years for the team to build another title-contending roster around him? Or should he request a trade and go play somewhere else? Let us know in the comments section down below.
