In Henderson’s words, they are cool now. She said, “We’ve been co-parenting for 12 years and we had to get to some space where we were able to communicate and remain friends.”

In an episode of Basketball Wives, Henderson opened up about the day she found out about Shaq’s infidelity. She claimed that there was a switch between their Blackberry phones. Since the model of the phone was similar, Henderson had Shaq’s phone instead of hers. Following this, she realized that the phone she had on her kept pinging notifications.

When she checked the phone, she realized that it was her husband Shaq’s device. She noticed that messages from other girls that Shaq had been with filled up the inbox. Infused with anger, Henderson rushed to the arena. She said, “I went in that garage, not only did I flatten tires, bust a few windows, I wrote on the hood of his car, ‘I cheat on my wife. I ain’t sh*t’ with a knife.”

Shaq’s entire car was destroyed and covered with writings that hinted at his infidelity. Henderson wanted everyone to know what Shaq had done. The ex-couple has come a long way since this incident. Most importantly, they are happy for each other and are around for their children.
