The Warriors were in the perfect position to close out the series on the back of a fantastic run of three consecutive wins against the Kings. However, the Sacramento side decided to pull the plug on the Warriors in a commanding away win.
The loss was a disappointment to many, but former NBA star-turned-analyst, Kendrick Perkins decided to bring out his humorous side to defend the Dubs’ loss. Moreover, Perkins also felt the need to subtly diss Giannis Antetokounmpo with a tweet on ‘failure’.

A few nights ago, Giannis Antetokounmpo gave a speech on ‘failure’ after the shocking exit of the Milwaukee Bucks from the playoffs. Although many around the sports community have hailed Antetokounmpo’s speech as iconic, people like Perkins have tried to point out their displeasure with his words through sarcastic comments.
Moreover, Perkins doubled down on his feelings in his ESPN First Take appearance where he sang the Warriors? chant while mentioning how the Dubs might take away the series. All his energetic reactions have prompted the ‘Twitterverse’ to bombard with their comments, including the 21-year-old Houston Rockets star, Jabari Smith Jr.

Others enjoyed Perkins’ sarcasm throughout the whole time and encouraged his comments on Twitter. Whatever Perkins’ intentions may be, it is an undeniable fact that the Warriors getting demolished at home was a huge failure from the Dubs’ point of view.
