Golden State Warriors star Draymond Green has been in a huge spot of bother after punching teammate Jordan Poole in the face. And his actions have gotten mixed reactions from the NBA world. And former number one draft pick Kwame Brown has backed Green, citing a 42-year-old Miami Heat legend as an example.
A few days ago, a report came out that Green had a physical altercation with Poole and the two had to be separated during a Warriors practice session. And the Warriors came out and did a press conference to assure that everything is fine. A day later, however, the video of the entire incident leaked to?TMZ and this reignited the incident.?The video showed Green throwing a punch at Poole’s face.

Kwame Brown cited Udonis Haslem when coming to the defense of Draymond Green
Brown talked about the entire incident and what he thought of it. He recalled incidents like this during his time in the NBA. Brown also referenced how teams need players like Green, and also defended him by using Miami Heat’s Udonis Haslem as an example.
He said, ” Just like Udonis. Udonis is the enforcer in Miami. They don’t give a f**k if Udonis don’t look at the basketball. He ain’t got to dribble, he ain’t got to do anything. All he got to go do is stay in shape and curl and slap the s**t out of Jimmy Butler when he need to”.

While Haslem does not play a lot of games at the Heat, he is there for leadership. He is seen talking to the team at their most crucial moments and he is not afraid to get into an argument with anyone when necessary. And Brown suggested that?Draymond Green is there for the same purpose.
