Ex-NBA Star Goes All Guns Blazing with “Junkie” Claims Against His Rival but Suffers Fans’ Wrath: “This S**t Getting Lame”

Former NBA star Gilbert Arenas has stirred major controversy recently with his actions on social media. After retiring from the league, the former Washington Wizards star has become a media personality and hosts the No Chill with Gilbert Arenas. Many former and current stars have made appearances on the show. Arenas himself makes a lot of appearances on talk shows as well, to voice his hot takes on various issues in basketball and beyond. But fans were not happy with his latest accusation against his former teammate, Kwame Brown.

Arenas and Brown have been beefing ever since their time playing for the Wizards. Arenas once revealed that Brown had filed a police report against him after an argument. So there is definitely not a lot of love between the two.

Gilbert Arenas calls Kwame Brown a “junkie”

Even though the two have been retired for a while now, they have been engaging in a bit of a back-and-forth from time to time. Now, Gilbert Arenas has taken it up a notch with his comments. The three-time NBA All-Star took to social media and alleged Kwame Brown is a “junkie”.

He wrote a long message and trolled Brown. He posted images and a podcast clip of Brown on Instagram and wrote, “Gets High and goes on rants about ppl Who does better then him in life 🗣️ Which is everyone 🤔 ✅🤣 He’s on that Baby powder but not by johnson and johnson”

Arenas added, “Kwame Bugga suga browns diet NO CAP( EVERY DAY) (EVERY DAMN DAY) “Hookah,Weed,Shots and chases it with bud light beer, gets sleepy and hides off camera while we listen to him sniff that #Antarctic 🥲🗣️” He ended it with, “Fairburn Police needs to do a wellness check on this junkie he thinks his daughter was riding a bike at ( 1 years OLD 😳)💯🫶🏾”.

The 2003 Most Improved Player was talking about a podcast episode of Brown. In the episode, the former #1 pick reportedly stated that his daughter started riding a bike when she was one. This was the major reason behind Arenas’ accusations of his former teammate.

Besides that, the three-time All-Star also insinuated that the former number one NBA draft pick takes drugs regularly. Fans were not happy with Arenas’ sudden rant.
