The Golden State Warriors are not having the best of times right now. It has only been hours since the Lakers outsmarted the Dubs for the second straight game and secured a commanding 3-1 lead. Things have been difficult for the young Warriors star Jordan Poole this postseason. Despite a decent regular season, the 23-year-old has been putting out lackluster displays in the playoffs. In Game 4, Poole failed to score despite playing 10 minutes. An ex-NBA player, however, thinks there is a solid reason behind the youngster’s post-season downfall.
Former NBA player turned analyst Greg Anthony hinted that a bizarre past incident involving Draymond Green?might have impacted Poole and his current playoff stint. Most hoops fans, however, beg to differ.

Despite being an iconic leader for the Dubs, Draymond Green has time and again faced flak for his conduct. Green’s altercation with his teammate Jordan Poole is one such bizarre conduct that landed him in trouble. Prior to the start of this season, Green and Poole had locked horns during a practice session in the Golden State camp. The two initially exchanged heated words from a distance. Soon, Green went chest to chest with Poole which prompted the latter to push him away. Subsequently, the 4x-NBA champion threw a punch at the youngster, sending him to the floor.
Months later, Jordan Poole is now struggling to contribute his part for the Warriors as they struggle to hold their ground against the Los Angeles Lakers. Greg Anthony has now subtly hinted that Draymond Green’s punch might have triggered Jordan Poole’s tumultuous postseason form. Anthony has taken to Twitter with an image that compares Poole’s numbers during this season and the previous one. “Curious, anyone think that he didn?t take a leap this year because of something traumatic occurring before the season started?,” he captioned the tweet.

NBA fans disagree with Greg Anthony
Jordan Poole has been facing flak for his lackadaisical playoff performances. Fans took the critique to the next level following the recent game against the Lakers. Stephen Curry ran to the 23-year-old’s defense. Now that Greg Anthony has brought up Draymond Green’s punch to defend JP, fans seem to totally disagree with Anthony.?“We cannot know this?it?s subjective nonsense. Players adjust and re adjust over and over. This too shall pass,”?said a fan.
