Memphis Grizzlies star Ja Morant remains in the spotlight, for the wrong reasons still. A few weeks ago, the 23-year-old flashed a firearm on Instagram live for the second time in three months. While some veterans condemned Morant’s antic, some gave him advice. Shaquille O’Neal‘s son Myles O’Neal, however, cracked a joke in the wake of Morant’s latest controversy, as a new storyline emerges in the Grizzlies guard’s troubles.

Myles O’Neal has a bizarre equation with Ja Morant on social media. From ridiculing Morant during Memphis’ playoff loss against LA to making a Call of Duty-related demand, Myles has time and again thrown jibes at the Grizzlies centerpiece. It seems Myles has again done something similar with Morant by discrediting his latest ‘defense’.

Recently, a bizarre rumor took centerstage in Ja Morant’s Instagram live scandal. It was rumored that Morant had then flashed a toy gun during the live session. The rumor has surely caught NBA Commissioner Adam Silver’s attention. Silver, however, made it clear that even if it were a toy gun, it won’t make an impact on the penalty that awaits Ja Morant.

In his recent appearance on Barstool Sportsbook’s Picks Central’s episode, Shaquille O’Neal’s son Myles and the hosts weighed in on hot NBA topics. The crew was quick to bring Ja Morant and his recent toy gun rumor into the conversation. One of the hosts wondered if he was being duped or if people really said Morant flashed a fake gun. Myles O’Neal was quick to give his take. The supermodel laughed and said, “No way, it is not a fake gun, he was ready to shoot.”

Weeks before this recent remark on Morant, Myles O’Neal demanded that the former should be in Call of Duty.

Suns superstar Kevin Durant was recently featured in Call of Duty. KD has his own unique character, moves and weapon skins. Only a select few athletes have got this honor earlier. Myles O’Neal, however, had a different Call of Duty pick in his mind. In his appearance on Gilbert Arenas’ podcast, Myles revealed that KD was not his Call of Duty pick.
