Incidentally, the NBA community has been buzzing with rumors of a potential reunion between former Cavaliers teammates LeBron James and Kyrie Irving in the upcoming season. The two formed the core of Cleveland’s 2016 world championship team. Therefore, the Lakers had been trying to import that chemistry into their team.
