The Curry-less Warriors did not look down and out. Even without their star man, they looked to perform well under pressure. Despite trailing at the end of the first quarter, it was a good display from GSW to make the game for themselves. The loss at home was the courtesy of Spurs? good 4th quarter rather than the Warriors? bad game. Other than the loss at home and absence of Steph, the incident which caught the headlines was the shocking ejection of Draymond Green.

Draymond received his second technical foul in a matter of seconds, apparently because the referee Marat Kogut had heard enough.
Ref Marat Kogut, a longtime Warriors nemesis, hits Draymond Green with 2 technical fouls in a matter of seconds. Ejected for too much chatter.

This was not the first time that the words Marat Kogut, Warriors, and controversial were used in the same discussion. In earlier instances too Stephen Curry once called ref Marat the ?MVP? for Warriors? loss. The fans once again recalled the previous such instances when ref Marat was involved in such decisions. The fans were in utter disbelief.

The Golden State Warriors, even without Stephen Curry, looked decent. Klay Thompson?s 24 points and Jordan Poole’s 28 set the tone for a good win. But after the ejection of Draymond Green halfway through the 3rd quarter, the Spurs worked out a win in the last seconds of the game with the help of Keldon Johnson’s tip-in.
