Sports fans are eagerly awaiting ‘The Match’ to be broadcast on live television. Two of the most prolific sporting duos will be competitors in this edition of the golf exhibition. The golf showcase will be a spectacle, especially for the viewers who get to watch their favorite sports stars duel on the course. However, it will also present an opportunity for two people to settle their bad blood; Charles Barkley and Stephen Curry.

This time, the match will be contested between two of the biggest duos in sports. On one side is the Kansas City Chiefs’ unbreakable duo – Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce. To challenge their chemistry, their rivals need to be on equal footing, and so they are. Taking them on will be one of the NBA’s most iconic tandems – Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson.

This prompted the Splash Brothers to retaliate in their way. Klay Thompson painfully admitted to Barkley’s reality but was upset that the Phoenix Suns icon dismissed the tedious hours he went through to get back to the top. While it looked like he was losing confidence, Stephen Curry turned the tables on Charles Barkley.

It was obvious, tempers were flaring out. Barkley felt his comments were taken in excess capacity than what was intended. A lot had to be said to resolve the heat. The basketball stars needed a platform to settle the tension. And ‘The Match’ could be their opportunity to finally see eye-to-eye.
