Matchups between legendary players are really exciting to watch. Having players from different generations matchup is an even better sight. And that is exactly what we got to see when Miami Heat’s Dwyane Wade and NBA legend Charles Barkley went 1 on 1, a year before the LeBron James trade happened.

Back in 2010, before the Decision happened, Wade was a perineal superstar at the Heat. He was the franchise player, but he was getting old and picking up too many injuries. But he was still one of the best players in the league and was a nightmare to guard when healthy.

Charles Barkley was well into his retirement and he had more than a decade of broadcasting experience. But when they met each other on the court, they decided to go one v one for a few possessions. And this attracted some legendary reactions from fans.

The matchup went as expected. A way fitter, Wade went up against a man who hadn’t played professional basketball in over a decade. The first time Wade had the ball, he went past Chuck with ease and layed it in.

Another said, “Watching this video does not do justice to how scary Charles was back in the day.” While one more said, “Surprisingly, Chuck still had more low post moves in this 30-second clip than the entire 2017 NBA Roster (combined).”
