Dwyane Wade has undoubtedly etched his presence in the NBA. Wade faced numerous obstacles right from the start. His mother battled drug and alcohol abuse, which ultimately resulted in her incarceration. Wade’s NBA career began in 2003 when he was selected by the Miami Heat as the 3rd overall choice in the draft. He played 16 NBA seasons in his entire career and is regarded as one of the NBA’s top players, courtesy of his extraordinary speed on the court, earning the nickname ?Flash? from none other than Lakers icon and 4x NBA champion, Shaquille O’Neal.

Looking back at his brutal journey in the NBA, the veteran player shared the clip on his Instagram, praising himself ?You worked for it kid.??Wade then shared his thoughts on the video that led him to where he is today by saying, ?I can’t believe it’s happened to me. You know I feel like the luckiest guy on earth. It’s always been a dream. But you know a lot of people’s dreams don’t come true. So you know I’m just living man out. You know, I just I’m the kind of player I just want to play.” Wade?s impact on the Heat was immediately visible after he was drafted.
