I run outside and Michael Jordan is sitting out there on a motorcycle with like I’ll say 50 dudes. It probably was 20.”
He further added, “But it looked like 50 dudes all on motorcycles. Mike’s sitting there. He was just like, “Hey man, I just want to come by, show you some love, congratulations.” Wade disclosed that this was his first meeting with Jordan, his long-time idol in the NBA.
The Miami Heat selected Dwyane Wade as the fifth pick in the 2003 NBA draft. Wade spent most of his career at the Heat and won three NBA titles with the franchise. He played alongside LeBron James for his last two titles. He joined the Bulls for one season between 2016 to 2017.

Michael Jordan and his “Be like Mike” impact on kids
Chicago Bulls fans during the 90s considered themselves fortunate to witness Michael Jordan lead their franchise. “Be like Mike” was the slogan given to young kids as they aspired to play in the NBA. Kids on local basketball courts tried to emulate Jordan’s mannerisms and play style. The Nike Jordan Brand also fueled his popularity.
Some NBA analysts criticized Jordan’s negative impact on the way children played basketball post-90s. However many others remained grateful to Jordan for popularizing the sport to a global audience.
