LeBron James and Dwyane Wade were like Superman and Batman from 2010 to 2014, when they were teammates in the Miami Heat. As a part of the ’75 Stories’ featured by the NBA, they recorded Dwyane Wade talking about his best friend in the league. In the clip, Wade reminisces about seeing LeBron James for the first time.

Dwyane Wade reveals that his first memory of King James was seeing him in a ‘special’ feature. Therein, James was just a junior in school coming off his junior season. Specifically, Wade describes him as having “a nappy fro, baby face, squeaky voice” and talking about his wish to join the NBA as a junior high school kid.

Further, Wade revealed his impression of LeBron was that he was “co*ky” as it was unthinkable at the time to join the NBA as a high school junior.

He said, “What?! He Could Leave High School as a Junior and Go Play in the NBA?”

However, just like the rest of the world, Wade witnessed greatness personified on 13th December 2002. On that fateful day, ESPN covered its first-ever high school basketball game.
