Dwyane Wade is one of the greatest players of all time and regarded by some as a top 5 shooting guard of all time. He won three titles with the Miami Heat and was an integral part of the Heat Dynasty. After retirement, Wade has joined the NBA on the TNT cast where he works as a basketball analyst.
Dwyane Wade was part of the show that announced the participants for the Rising Star Challenge. When addressing the talent the league has to offer, Wade believes that Anthony Edwards and LaMelo Ball are both generational-type players.

Wade said, “Ant-Man and LaMelo are fighting to be the face of our league. These two guys have the potential to be the face of our league. And they both have the confidence to say it and the talent to back it up and do it.”

The League is filled with talent
The amount of generational talent that has come has come into the league in the last few years is astronomical. Rookies like Cade Cunningham, Evan Mobley, Franz Wagner have been lighting it up this year. Jayson Tatum, Luka Doncic, Ja Morant, Donovan Mitchell, Zion Williamson, and Trae Young came into the league a few years ago and they are superstars for their teams.

But probably the next exciting duo to take the league by storm might be the sophomores, Anthony Edwards and LaMelo Ball. Both of them look like franchise cornerstones and are playing just like that.
Ball is the Hornets point guard of the future and he has an aura around him that makes everyone better. Edwards is a dynamic scorer and he can jump out of the building. Both of them fought hard for the Rookie of the Year award, which LaMelo Ball won in the end.

But these stars have some stiff competition in front of them. They still have to knock down superstars of yesterday. LeBron James, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Kevin Durant, Stephen Curry, and others are still the faces of the league. Ball and Edwards will have their task cut out for them, but they will surely have the confidence to take on everybody in the league.
