The NBA All-star weekend came to a glorious end in Cleveland on Sunday. The NBA All-Star game lived up to its hype with a nail-biting finish. There were several first-time All-Stars, but there were also several snubs, some of which made the fans really angry.
One anonymous reporter said Tyler Herro was one of the snubs for the game. Herro is averaging career-high in points and minutes and he is one of the leading candidates for the sixth man of the year award. The reporter says that Herro is so good that he would not trade him for Bradley Beal.
He believes that the talent differential isn’t that much. Beal is having a down year by his high standards and he is out for the season due to injury. There were several rumors that the Miami Heat wanted to go after Bradley Beal but were reluctant to include Herro in the talks.

Those narratives formed after first 10 games of the season carrying Herro perception all season 😭😭😭.

League average shooter who offers little in other statistical categories, is sub-optimal D, and spends most of his time playing backups. His agent really earning his paycheck here lol.

What is it with people thinking Tyler Herro is gonna be the next big thing?? If he had that much potential, he wouldn’t come off the bench and no he was rightfully not selected to be an all star cuz he’s not 😂

Tyler Herro’s career year

Tyler Herro is having a hell of a season and he is the favorite to win the NBA’s Sixth man of the Year award. He averages 20 PPG, and just under 5 RPG and 4 APG while shooting 37 percent from three-point range. And he is doing this while coming off the bench for the Heat.
Several people laughed at Herro’s comments at the start of the year that he was on the same level as Luka Doncic, Trae Young, and Ja Morant. He may not be at their level yet, but he has shown signs of potential and he is a lot closer to them now. The difference between those stars and Herro is that all of them are the primary options on their team. Herro is not. He is either the 3rd or 4th option on this Heat team. Herro will definitely want to prove his worth in the playoffs this year and show the Heat that he is ready to be the first option for them.
