He iconically silenced the crowd at Madison Square Garden in previous years, becoming a nemesis of the fanbase.

Trae Young received a lot of hate in New York during the 2022 playoffs. During a recent conversation, he revealed that he was actually spat on by the New York fans. It’s shocking that fans can perform and get away with such behavior on the biggest stage of the game.
He explained, “Imma let it fuel me, but I don’t like it.” Young revealed that he’s always been the villain since high school. He even recalls being yelled at on the court as a child. The 6’1” point guard admitted that he’s not a fan of people thinking of him as the “villain”?but he has learned to use it as inspiration.
Young is certainly one of the highest potential superstars in the NBA. And with a ceiling that high, there are often people that want to see you fall. Whether that’s on-court or off of it, some fans just look to hate on certain players.
Unfortunately, it seems like Young cannot catch a break as he was recently getting trolled for his outfit.

Atlanta star has outfit called out online
Trae Young was seen on a golf course wearing a designer outfit. He became the victim of brutal trolling from the fans on the internet. One individual wrote, “You dressed like this for golf fam? just get the adidas polo and some khaki shorts.”?Clearly, the fan did not think that the gold course was an appropriate setting for designer wear.
With John Collins moving to Utah, Young will be surrounded by some new faces next season. Let’s see if Atlanta can build a supporting cast around the 24-year-old star.
