There are many people in the world who believe that Michael Jordan is the GOAT. Rightfully so, as the Chicago Bulls legend has done the unthinkable in and for the sport. He is the reason for the enormous reach that the NBA has worldwide. However, can you imagine him lacking so much at one aspect of the game that his stats pale in comparison to a comedian?
For many, Jordan is like this fictional superhero character straight out of a comic book, except, he’s real. His reign with the Bulls in the 90s is something that inspired generations to take up the sport as a career choice. Despite doing all that and so much more, the great Jordan falls short of a 5’2 Kevin Hart if we compare their statistics.

Everything that Jordan achieved in his basketball career and beyond is a lesson for people from different walks of life. If we sit down to prepare a resume for the great man, we’ll require more manpower and some extra days to ensure we didn’t miss anything. 6 NBA titles, 6 Finals MVPs, 5 NBA MVPs, 14 All-Star Appearances, and 2 Olympic gold medals just scratch the surface.
What would make anyone an all-time great is just the first-page information on MJ. Even if we exclude his conquests on the court, his achievements off the court make for an even greater highlight reel.
However, arguably, the greatest basketball player of all time pales in comparison to one of the best comedians of our time. There has been a trend going on over Twitter where users ask each other to share a mind-blowing statistic about any sport. In the NBA version of the tweet, a user asked others to post NBA facts that are true but would seem wrong to anyone.
In response to the tweet, a user posted an unbelievable stat, comparing MJ and Hart. He tweeted “Michael Jordan had the worst three-point shooting contest performance in NBA history.”

“He scored less than Kevin Hart,” he added to his tweet.

The statistics show that Michael Jordan did perform poorly in the contest
As bizarre as it sounds, this holds true when you check the statistics of MJ’s three-point shooting contest performance. Jordan is the worst performer in the history of the contest. He landed at that position with the only contest he participated in.
In his first and only competition in 1990, Jordan shot 5 for 30, at a percentage of 16.67. The 2nd worst performance in NBA is held by Vladimir Radmanovic, 20% with 6 for 30. To compare this with Hart’s stats, he scored 13 points as compared to Jordan’s 5 in a celebrity three-point contest.
