The NBA playoffs are upon us. The Golden State Warriors have taken on the Sacramento Kings in the first round of the playoffs. After losing the initial games of the series, it looks like the dub nation is back on track as they went on a three-game winning spree. In an interview given to NBA on TNT, Draymond Green explains how his unfortunate suspension in the third game of the series helped the Golden State Warriors.

Draymond Green got ejected from Game 2 of the series against Sacramento Kings for stomping on Domantas Sabonis. Later, the NBA decided to suspend him from Game 3 for the same misconduct.

Draymond Green shares the positive impact of his suspension

The Golden State Warriors won game 5 against the Sacramento Kings. In the post-game interview given to Charles Barkley, Draymond Green shared the positive effects that his suspension had on the team.

Green told Charles, ” I think number one it bands us together. And we followed some things that worked. With Jordan being in the starting lineup, you know what that did for our offense. Bringing this group together. Everybody had to rally together and we were able to take game 3.”

Well, according to Green, his suspension from the third game made his team come together and work even harder to compensate for him. This ensured that they are currently leading 3-2 in the series. There’s at least one more game left in the series.

It will be interesting to see how things turn out for Stephen Curry and Co in the sixth game.

Warriors’ stance revealed on Draymond Green’s suspension

When the news about Draymond Green getting suspended for Game 3 broke out, the supporters of Golden State were not happy. Adrian Wojnarowski revealed the stance of the Golden State Warriors. He said,??Consider the Warriors, in one word, livid. They certainly didn?t agree with the one-game suspension. They were surprised at it. No question about that.??Safe to say that the team was not happy when they found out their star power forward will be unavailable for the crucial match.

However, as it turns out, Green’s teammates have compensated for his suspension impeccably as their valiant attempt ensured victory for the Warriors.
