Kevin Durant and Draymond Green accomplished a great deal as teammates. They brought back-to-back titles to the Bay Area in their first two seasons together. However, since KD’s farewell season as a Golden State Warrior, both players have garnered headlines from time to time. And this week was no exception.
The primary point of contention is that Stephen Curry has no Finals MVPs, whereas the Brooklyn Nets player, who left the Warriors to prove himself, has two. Green and Durant had contrasting memories of their NBA Finals trips together. Green claimed on “The Colin Cowherd Podcast” that Stephen Curry was double-teamed more than Durant in the Finals. This sparked a Twitter feud between the two stars.

The subject has been trending, and the king of hot takes, Skip Bayless, decided to weigh in. ?So I want to remind Kevin, if he?s watching right now that, some people call Draymond the ?Head of Golden State Snake? and sometimes you could say maybe he?s more snake than the head of snakes. I believe, Kevin Durant if you?re watching right now, I believe that deep down at the bottom of Draymond?s heart, he still considers you the ?b word? in the end.”

?Draymond?s saying you know what, I got to give Steph all my love and I?ve got no problem with that because we are on the verge of a big NBA finals clash, with the number one defensive team so I get it that he?s going to defend his little brother on his team with all of his might because Kevin Durant didn?t even win a single playoff game this year,”?Skip said.
The banter may be entertaining to fans as well as to Skip Bayless. However, Draymond Green and the Warriors would like to put any off-court tussle aside and focus solely on the NBA Finals.
The infamous Draymond Green-Kevin Durant altercation
Kevin Durant’s final year with the Golden State Warriors was, to put it mildly, tumultuous. The two-time NBA champion, currently with the Brooklyn Nets, was chastised for his stint with the franchise as rumors dogged the 2019-20 campaign.
This features the Kevin Durant-Draymond Green altercation, which (Durant subsequently confessed) influenced his decision to leave the Bay Area.

Most NBA fans are aware of the incident involving Kevin Durant and Draymond Green. During the 2018-19 season, the Warriors paid a visit to the Staples Center to lock horns with the LA Clippers.
The score was tied at 106. With the clock winding down, Draymond Green rebounded a missed shot by Lou Williams and pushed his way down the court. Green, however, refused to pass to Durant, and the game went into overtime.
A heated Kevin Durant-Draymond Green altercation erupted, with both players yelling at one other in the huddle. The altercation, for understandable reasons, prompted several concerns about the Dubs’ cohesion. The squad went on to lose the following five games after the incident.

Following that, speculation about Durant quitting the franchise grew. The Warriors, of course, advanced to the 2019 NBA Finals, where they faced the Toronto Raptors. Unfortunately, the team’s chance at a three-peat was dashed when Durant ruptured his Achilles, sidelining him for the whole 2019-20 season. Durant eventually signed with the Brooklyn Nets that pre-season.
Given the evidence, Durant and Green may not be on negative terms right now.??Both athletes once addressed the controversial altercation, offering further insight into what was said between the two NBA superstars.
