Draymond Green has been loyal to the Golden State Warriors ever since they drafted him with the 35th overall pick in the 2012 NBA draft. He, along with Stephen Curry, has seen massive success at the Warriors in their time there. Needless to say, Draymond with Stephen is a dangerous partnership.

Together they have beaten contenders and championship-level teams by mere collective influence on the game. Curry is absolutely dangerous on the ball and pounces on opportunities even in split seconds of defenders’ lapse of concentration. Draymond, on the other hand, repels defenders and finds gaps. The duo complement each other, probably like no other in the league.

Draymond Green talks about Harrison Barnes

Draymond is a man of many talents. While making Warriors look effective and contributing towards the season, he also has a talk show of his own on YouTube. Recently he invited Blazers’ point guard Damian Lillard. In conversation with Dame, Green conversed about the incidents relating to the trade of Kevin Durant to the Golden State Warriors. He shared how the trade meant that Harrison Barnes had to leave GSW and Barnes partially blamed Green for it. Dray also mentioned how unlike him, Barnes had taken all of it personally.

Dray talked about the trade of KD and Barnes’ exit after the 2016 season, “I didn’t tell them to trade you and he took it very personally because of the story that came out that I cried to KD in the car whatever… he took it very personally at me and so for instance this dude invite Stephen, and like Steph, Klay everybody at his wedding except me.”

He laughed with Dame during the conversation and continued, “All these dudes was at the same meeting as I was at… with KD they was all there too. You know what I’m saying, however, I didn’t take it personally because it is what it is.”

Green saw the funny side of it and thought that it was funnier than anything. In his opinion, Barnes did get traded out, but he still made money and is still making money. On other hand, Dray won three championships with the GSW. He also admitted that he did suggest that KD’s arrival would make the team better, which did happen, but he never intended for Barnes to get traded out.

Other than this, Dame and Dray also discussed Dame’s future with the Balzers and vision for the future, among many other things.
