Draymond Green and Charles Barkley share a love-hate relationship that has developed over the years. Barkley previously said on TV that he wants to punch Green in the face. Later, after they met on the NBA on TNT show, they reconciled and they now have a cordial relationship.
Green has praised Barkley’s open nature, and how he disarmed him the first time they met. He now says Chuck is one of the best people in his life. Chuck has helped green get better as a TV analyst. “If you don’t like Charles Barkley after meeting him,” Green said, “then something’s wrong with you.”

Draymond lauds Chuck for his defensive ability in the 1993 finals. On watching game film on the finals, Draymond Green says” The spacing is different, Look at the Bulls’ spacing. Where are you going? No wonder MJ’s fadeaway was so deadly. That’s the only shot you can go to. So much traffic.” He said that Chuck made it very difficult for Jordan and the Bulls to come into the lane. Green applauded Chuck for making Jordan shoot a high number of fadeaways.
Charles Barkley and his journey to the Hall of Fame
Charles Barkley is known as one of the greatest power forwards of all time. He was famous for his power, rebounding, and skills. However, he was leaper in his prime. His deft touch and tenacity made a menace on the low block. Barkley was a small-sized power forward but that did not matter to him, as opponents struggled to be in front of him.
He spent sixteen seasons in the NBA with three teams. Chuck was first drafted with the Philadelphia 76ers, where he spent his first 8 seasons. He formed a formidable partnership with Moses Malone and was picked 5 times to the All-Star game.
Later, he went to Phoenix Suns, and won his only MVP trophy in 1993. Barkley averaged 25.6 points, 12.2 rebounds, 5.1 assists, 1.0 blocks and 1.6 steals in that season as the Suns finished top of the West. Chuck and the Suns had a heck of a year, as they reached the NBA finals that year. They would go on to lose to Michael Jordan and the Chicago Bulls in a hard-fought series.

Charles was also part of the so-called Dream Team which won the gold in the 1992 Olympics. He was rightfully inducted into the Hall of Fame twice, once in 2006 for his career and in 2010 for being part of the Dream Team. Today, Chuck is one of the best TV analysts and he has won multiple awards for his insightful analysis.
