The defending champions Golden State Warriors hosted the 2021 champions Milwaukee Bucks on Saturday. The Warriors were on a three-game losing streak since the return of their leading scorer, Stephen Curry. With no Giannis Antetokounmpo in the lineup for Milwaukee, this game was a great opportunity for the Warriors to get back on track. And it seemed as if Draymond Green was willing to leave no stone unturned.

After a lackluster start from the Warriors, the team?s defensive anchor, Draymond Green decided to take things up a notch. However, Bucks center and 15-year veteran Brook Lopez may have caught on to that during the game.

During the second quarter of the game, the Bucks brought the ball up on offense and Brook Lopez stood in Draymond?s way while Grayson Allen attempted a three-pointer. With Lopez setting the screen, it becomes difficult for anyone to go around his large frame.

However, Green still tried to charge Allen in order to close out the shooter. But since Green was slow in closing out, he decided to flop a little while also trying to draw a foul from Lopez by getting his arm entangled with the Bucks center’s arm.

The officials did not call any fouls and the game went on. The seven-foot center immediately caught on to Green?s tactics. While on his way back on defense, Lopez said, ?You’re tryna get me in trouble Draymond, damn.?

The first half of the game ended with a one-point difference, as the Warriors led the Milwaukee Bucks going into the third quarter.

Dillon Brooks took shots at Green and Stephen Curry recently

Draymond Green has been the talk of the town lately. He called out Memphis Grizzlies player Dillon Brooks after their matchup a couple of days ago. The four-time NBA champion accused the Grizzlies guard of baiting him into getting technical fouls.

Green said, ?He thought like he would bait me into getting a technical foul. I get technical fouls when I want to get technical fouls. I don’t get baited into technical fouls. So I think that’s probably the difference between me and him.?

Not only that, but during the last matchup between the Warriors and the Grizzlies, Brooks had some words for Stephen Curry as well. He kept talking trash to Curry, claiming that the four-time NBA champion would not be able to score on him one-on-one.

Despite Brooks trying his best to get under Curry’s skin, the Warriors’ point guard seemed unaffected. While Curry tends to stay quiet and let his game do the talking, Green uses a different approach. With the Playoffs fast approaching, the Warriors will be hoping to get a consistent run of wins.
