Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors, after a rough couple of seasons, are back in the Finals. The last time they were considered a contender was when Kevin Durant was still with them. Durant spent a good 3 seasons with the Dubs, playing in 3 Finals and winning 2 rings. However, after he left, the Dubs stumbled for 2 straight seasons.
Recently there have been talks about how Durant impacted the Warriors. While Steph was still a great player alongside Kevin Durant, KD was the top scorer during the playoffs. And Durant also won the Finals MVP award on both occasions. But Stephen Curry’s threat from outside freed up Durant.

As long as Steph is playing for the Dubs, he will be the one who will start the offense. For years, Curry brought the ball up the court, initiating the offense, while Draymond completed it. Steph, Green, and Thompson, the trio have played for a decade and know their way around the offensive floor against almost any team.
For the 6th time in 8 years, the Dubs have made it to the Finals, as they tied up the series against the Celtics, 1-1. The Warriors are looking to bounce back in this one after a rough start. It will be interesting to see how they play in Boston, as game 3 will tip-off on Wednesday.
