The Warriors have done it again, as they rise as the Western Conference champion for the 6th time in 8 years. Stephen Curry and the squad came out victorious against Luka’s Mavs in 5 games. The Duns finished the season with a 53-29 record and standing on the 3rd seed.
Not only were the Dubs crowned as the kings of West, but the league also introduced a new MVP award. Stephen Curry was named the first Magic Johnson MVP after the Game 5 win. The Warriors will now face the winner of the Heat and Celtics series, though Draymond seems sure of his opponent in the next round.

Draymond already knows the winner of the East Finals series
The Celtics are leading the series 3-2 against the Heat. Not that this series was not a problem for the Celtics. Both the teams had their key players injured at some point. After coming out of the West, Green is optimistic that Boston will take the series. “We’re gonna play Boston.”, said Green when asked who he thinks will be the Warriors’ next opponent. Despite having their tallest player listed at 6’9, Looney has surprised everyone with his spectacular performance.

The Warriors met teams that had big men out sizing their interior. Regardless, the Dubs’ energy on the defensive end was incredible. The Celtics’ Al Horford has been going off. As their primary big man, Al has been all over the floor on the offense. But the question is, can the Warriors manage to handle Boston’s big men?

Can Stephen Curry lead the Dubs to their 7th title?
Steph and Klay, the splash brothers, are back on the floor after 2 years. This will be the second time the Warriors will face a team in which most of the players have never played in the Finals. In 2019, the Dubs played the Raptors where Danny Green and Kawhi Leonard were the only players with Finals experience. Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown, and Marcus Smart will play their first-ever Finals against the Warriors.
Boston struggled against the Bucks in the second round, though the Warriors might not be that much of a problem. The Celtics have a size advantage over the Dubs and it will be interesting to see if the Warriors can manage to stop their big men. This series will also affect Steph’s career as he has never won a Finals MVP. Who do you think will win the Finals series? Do let us know in the comments.
