The 2022 Met Gala event had the theme of ?The Gilded Age?. And many celebrities dressed accordingly, including some NBA stars. Kim Kardashian is one of the most influential celebrities in the world. She attended the event in a dress which was once used by Marilyn Monroe in 1962 to sing ?Happy Birthday? to former US president JF Kennedy.?

But she was on the receiving end of some backlash on social media. It was because Kim revealed that she had to starve herself for three weeks to lose 16 lbs in order to fit into the dress.?

This was met with some severe backlash as people complained that Kim is influencing their kids in the wrong way. And Warriors? Draymond Green has come to the support of Kim, reiterating that it is her choice via Twitter.

But the fans are still not convinced. They feel that the celebrities like Kim and Green have so much influence on kids due to social media. Draymond also said that it is not the celebrities? job to raise every kid. And pointed out that the parents can?t blame the celebrities for their kids? actions.

And it was later found out that Kim K also wore a second Marilyn Monroe dress for the Met Gala after-party. Marilyn Monroe wore this dress to the Golden Globes in 1962, where she was awarded the Henrietta Award for her film, ?World Film Favorite?.
