The Golden State Warriors are the 2022 NBA Champions. They defeated the Boston Celtics in 6 games to clinch their fourth title in eight years. Most of the general public and media didn’t favor the Warriors, so winning the championship certainly shut many mouths. Draymond Green remembered everyone who bet against them and made sure he let them know who won in the end.
After Memphis Grizzlies star Ja Morant tweeted that the Grizzlies had taken property in the heads of Warriors players, Draymond clapped back at him and let him know who the NBA champion is. Morant’s tweet backfired quickly as Draymond gave him a fitting reply.

The Warriors and Grizzlies had a heated series
The Warriors and the Grizzlies met in the conference semi-finals this year. It was a competitive series which the Warriors won in 6 games against the higher-seeded Memphis. The teams have become accustomed to facing each other over the past couple of years. After winning the title, Klay Thompson mentioned in an interview that he was pissed off when Grizzlies forward, Jaren Jackson Jr tweeted the famous Warriors slogan ‘Strength in numbers’ after a regular-season victory over Golden State.
Ja Morant heard what Klay said and immediately tweeted what he thought about the situation. He indicated that the Grizzlies had affected the Warriors more than any other team this year and they were still in the minds of the Warriors’ players.

Draymond Green didn’t appreciate Morant’s tweet and gave him a fitting reply. Green hilariously clapped back and said that they traded the so-called ‘real estate’ for a ring in Boston.

Well said champ! Good as they were, oh Boy do they have some growing up to do. Try making it to the West final first then maybe, just maybe they’ll start being a thought. Meantime your all welcome to the Parade on Monday, this is how the Bays team does it!

The Memphis Grizzlies seem like the team with the best chance of uprooting the champions in the West next season. While it will be tough to do that, the Grizzlies certainly have what it takes to beat the Warriors. In the meantime, it’s the Golden State Warriors who are on top of the world.
