In a recent interview, Jeff Hamilton, a famous fashion designer, confirmed that he had designed a few jackets for The Weekend, Travis Scott, Asap Rocky, Drake, and Snoop Dogg. In 2016, Drake had been in contact with Hamilton for an amazing project. Jeff, the master at his art, made a jacket for Drake. However, after multiple rumors, Jeff believed that Drake had gifted that jacket to Stephen Curry.

He then went on to start many businesses and clothing lines, to now bring famous for designing leather jackets for icons
Did Drake give his iconic jacket to Stephen Curry?
Drake had asked Jeff to design a jacket to pay homage to Kobe Bryant in 2016. He basically wanted the jacket for the 2016 All-Star game that was held in Toronto. When asked about the project Jeff said that the jacket got more coverage than any of his previous projects.
“… Drake wants to create some kind of a jacket as an homage to… to Kobe. Uhm, let’s call it farewell to Mamba. And that’s just basically start putting things together, putting his images and that jacket got more coverage than any other jacket I think I made in my life.”
At the time, Kobe was playing in his last season, and Drake had got one of the most fabulous designs from Jeff. There were a number of rumors about that jacket, and whether Drake still had it. When Jeff asked Drake about the jacket, Drake said that he had it framed in his house.

“… I said to him, I had heard rumors that you gave away the jacket to Steph Curry because Steph Curry really wants that jacket. He said no I did not… I gave it… like actually I have in my house, framed in… In a frame in my house.” said Jeff.
Drake confirmed that he had given the jacket to Curry

During a Blazers and Raptors game in 2016, Drake joined the commentators. Drake talked about the Jeff Hamilton jacket, as he said, “Yeah, he was kind enough to make me a jacket in collaboration with Jordan and OVO of course, and yeah, that was a great piece. You know, I actually… funny enough I… I gifted that jacket to Steph. Uh… yeah, yeah Steph my guy. You know, we’re family.”

Well, this statement really turned the whole mystery as he disagreed with Hamilton, telling him that he didn’t give Steph the $7000 jacket. Whether Drake still has it or not, the Farewell to Mamba project was one of Hamilton’s best.
