Following a disappointing season, the Toronto Raptors sacked head coach Nick Nurse who guided the franchise to its maiden NBA championship in 2019. In his five seasons with the Raptors, Nurse had a 227-163 record, giving him the highest winning percentage of any coach in the franchise’s history. However, the team had to let go of Nurse after they dropped an elimination game at home in the play-in tournament this season. While the Toronto side goes through a major transition, comedian Kevin Hart recently revealed popular rapper Drake’s bizarre expectations from the Raptors.
Drake has been the Canadian team’s most decorated fan over the years. However, Kevin Hart recently appeared on The Rich Eisen Show, where he talked about the rapper’s absurd expectations from the Toronto Raptors.

During his recent appearance on “The Rich Eisen Show,” Kevin Hart commented on Drake’s desire to play basketball. Eisen had an interesting question in store for the comedian. He asked him who would prevail in a game among the three, Drake, Boxing legend Floyd Mayweather or Hart himself.
Hart’s response was hilarious as usual. He said,” I don’t think you could’ve put me in the company of two worst athletes. Drake AKA Bad Knees, Bad Knees Bobby.” However, he didn’t stop there. The veteran comedian then went on to reveal the $260 Million rapper?s absurd expectations from the Toronto Raptors.
Hart continued the hilarity by expressing his mock worry over Drake’s continued pursuit of basketball despite his lack of athletic skills. “At one point, somebody has to ask Drake what are you doing, right? With these basketball workouts and hiring these shooting coaches, what are you doing, okay? It’s over. It’s not gonna happen,” said Hart.
Drake is an avid basketball enthusiast who was even at one point, the Toronto Raptors’ international ambassador. But Hart thinks the rapper has a delusional view of his ability in the game.
He added, “I don’t think there are right people in his life that have given him hard honesty. I think Drake in his mind thinks that he’s gonna get a call…. I think he thinks that the Toronto Raptors are gonna say, ‘Are you interested in a ten-day contract?’. He has a warped POV as to what can happen. And that’s my worry here, that’s my big worry.”
