Shaquille O?Neal has come a long way from his heated scuffles in the league. Though Shaq has had his fair share of arguments and fights, now he?d rather clear up misunderstandings and maintain peace for others. After helping a current NBA player on his off-court battles, the Big Diesel achieved a somewhat similar feat for this ex-NFL star live on camera.

Days after the four-time NBA champion helped the Memphis Grizzlies star Ja Morant to tackle the media, Shaq continues to play the mediator for others as well. This time for the ex-NFL player Lesean Shady McCoy, who was ‘checked’ by co-host Ashley Nicole Moss for his tone and attitude in the locker room.

Shaquille O’Neal plays the role of a peacemaker

Recently, the Los Angeles Lakers legend made an appearance on ‘I Am Athlete.? He was joined by co-hosts Lesean Shady McCoy, Brandon Marshall, Adam ‘Pacman” Jones, and Ashley Nicole Moss for the episode.

While talking to Shaq, Brandon Marshall brought up how he shared the court with some of the best NBA greats. And also his perfect transition from the basketball court to television as an analyst. Marshall also mentioned how things got a little messy in the locker room before the show.

In response, Ashley Nicole Moss couldn?t help but show her enthusiasm on the matter. When Shaq asked what happened, Nicole went on to narrate the situation.

She said, ?Shady caught a little attitude and a little tone when speaking to me. And didn?t know how to, you know, come correct. So I had to check him.?

Shaq immediately intervened and replied, ?I?ll tell you what. I?m gonna apologize.? Nicole agreed with the seven-footer and said, ?He should have apologized.? The ex-NBA star continued to play the mediator for the two.

Shaq went on to say, ?No, he did. We don?t want no problems, we don?t want no beef. Let?s move on. Let?s move on.? McCoy was appreciative of Shaq?s skills to squash whatever was building up between the two hosts.

Shaquille O?Neal has had his moments of beef on the ?Inside the NBA? show. And it?s usually when Shaq locks horns with Charles Barkley on opposing takes. However, the NBA legend makes sure to end it on the show itself and not let it escalate further.
