Memphis Grizzlies star Ja Morant had a tough couple of months by the end of the season. Not only was he suspended for flashing a gun on social media, but his team faced an early elimination from the playoffs as well. Morant issued a sincere public apology the first time around and had everyone convinced that he learned his lesson. However, after he repeated the same mistake, even Adam Silver was taken aback.

With Morant now down the same road that got him suspended in the first place, the NBA Commissioner finally breaks the silence on his situation.

And even though the league could make a decision now, Silver also mentioned that they will be going along with the NBPA and announcing the verdict after the NBA Finals – smart move by the commissioner so as to not draw away attention from the main event of the league.

Adam Silver also said regarding Ja Morant, ?I don?t think we yet know what it will take to change his behavior.? He emphasized the need for ?creating better circumstances? around Morant going forward.
