“Don’t Judge!”: In Rare Camera Appearance for Michael Jordan’s Grandson, Daughter Jasmine Has Eyes Fixed on March Madness

The Chicago Bulls legend Michael Jordan has been a tough customer for the media to get a hold of. After his retirement, MJ rarely interacts with the press and he is also off social media. Similarly, Jordan’s first grandchild, Rakeem Michael Christmas, also makes very rare appearances in the public eye. Fans only get glimpses of Christmas sometimes through his mother’s social media posts. However, the fans got a rare look at the 4-year-old while Jasmine Jordan had her attention glued to March Madness. 

March Madness has finally come down to the finish line and fans across the country await the big games over the next couple of days. The Iowa Hawkeyes have emerged as the favorites for the women’s tournament after Caitlin Clark’s dominating performances throughout the tournament. Just like the millions of people in the country, fans spotted MJ’s daughter glued to the television screen via her Instagram story. The Hawkeyes will take on the LSU Tigers on Sunday in the championship game.

Michael Jordan’s grandson steals the show

As mentioned earlier, it’s a rare sight to get a glimpse of Rakeem Michael Christmas. Most of the fans haven’t seen Christmas’ face because Jasmine is always careful to keep it hidden. In her recent Instagram story, she shared a boomerang video of her enjoying the game with a glass of wine while her son scrolls through his iPad.

The Instagram story included a caption that read, “Friday Nights With My Baby Boy.” The caption also included a message to her followers in a much smaller font size. She wrote, “Still settling in my house. Don’t Judge!” While there isn’t clarity on the message, the fans suggest that she highlighted the mess in her room.

In Christmas’ previous appearance, he accompanied his mother on a date.  Jasmine Jordan shared the picture of her son with a heartening caption that read, “On a date + kinda nervous | #MamasBoy.”

Michael Jordan has a soft corner for his grandson

The fans recognize Michael Jordan as the fiercest player on the court and he has maintained that image off the court as well. However, the story isn’t the same when it comes to his grandson. Jasmine once opened up about MJ’s affection for her son. She said, “Michael Jordan, the grandpa, is soft… My son definitely has my dad wrapped around his finger.”

She further added, “He loves being a grandfather, and my son is his first grandchild.” We will get to know more about their bond once Christmas grows up.
