The Brooklyn Nets have been in a tough spot before the season begins. Main issue comes with their star Kyrie Irving, The league is very strict when it comes to its protocols, especially some cities like New York. Hence, because Irving refuses to comply with them, he would miss all home games going into the season. This is the reason the Nets had to make a call.

Coach Steve Nash said that they had to calculate just how much will Irving miss. However, soon after his statement, Brooklyn put out some major news. They said that they will keep Irving out until he is fully available. This would mean that they won’t allow him to play until he gets in line with the protocols. Kai is yet to go through any procedure and now trade talks are also coming in.

Kyrie said: “Don’t believe that I’m retiring. He continued saying: “Don’t believe any of that sh*t man. Like really be aware of what’s being said before I even get a chance to be on a podium and speak for myself. All these people saying all these things about what is going on with me, it’s not true. Pay attention to what’s going on out in the real world. People are losing their jobs to these mandates, people are having to make choices with their own lives which I respect.”

Irving further explained how he was promised to be given exemptions before the season begins. He stated that he himself couldn’t see this coming. However, the point remains that despite all the things, Kyrie Irving doesn’t plan on leaving the game. There is a chance we get to see him play for another team and KAI is open to those options. He isn’t planning on stepping away which is good news all around.
