The Golden State Warriors have been the center of attention in the NBA in recent times. The Warriors forward Draymond Green punched his teammate Jordan Poole during a practice session on October 5. Moreover, the footage of the incident went viral, and the whole world saw what happened between the duo. Green has received a lot of backlash from the media after his physical altercation with Poole. Recently, The Daily Show’s host Trevor Noah took a shot at Draymond Green by roasting the four-time All-Star during the show.

The Golden State Warriors decided to handle the incident between Green and Poole internally. Draymond Green has also apologized to Jordan Poole and the team following his lapse of control. The Warriors head coach Steve Kerr stated that Green had been fined after the team management decided against a suspension.?

Draymond Green announced that he would be taking some time off and will rejoin the team after a break. Meanwhile, The Daily Show‘s Trevor Noah couldn’t let go of Green’s actions without making fun of it.

The host took a dig at the four-time NBA champ by making a hilarious comment as a reminder for everyone. Noah said, “Do not punch your coworkers unless you want some extra vacation time.”?

The studio audience erupted in laughter after Noah’s hilarious jibe. Meanwhile, Green is facing a tough situation after the video of his incident with Poole became public. However, the Warriors have shown trust in their nine-year relationship with Draymond Green.

Green gets fined for punching Jordan Poole

?Steve Kerr claimed that the altercation between Green and Poole was the biggest crisis the Warriors have faced since he became head coach. Kerr has won five championships as an NBA player and four championships as a coach.

The Warriors head coach reckoned that Green would return to practice on Thursday and will be available for the final pre-season encounter on Friday, October 14th. Kerr admitted that the team process after the incident was quite exhausting. He added that there have been a lot of conversations within the team after the incident.

Kerr would hope to bring the Golden State Warriors together again before their first regular season encounter against the Los Angeles Lakers on October 18. The Warriors won the championship last year after beating the Boston Celtics in the Finals. Thus, Steve Kerr’s men would hope to repeat their championship victory yet again this season.
