Poole addressed the media following the Warriors’ victory on Tuesday night. During that interview session, the interviewer asked the 23-year-old how much muscle he has put on since his debut in the league. In addition to that, Poole was also asked whether that extra muscle has helped him to improve his defense.

The Warriors guard delved deeper into the topic and replied, “I’ve changed my body a bit since I’ve got in the league.” Moreover, he added that he has become more explosive and lean. Subsequently, Poole pointed out that all these traits appear slowly with age.

Thereafter, he added,  “We’re playing against guys who are 35, 36 (years old), these are grown men. We’re coming in at 21, 22, like… you still have little kid bodies. So over time you start to grow, you start to get stronger, you just start to add grown men strength.”

“You apply that to the work you put in in the weight room. It’ll transform your body over time,” he added.

Apart from that. the interviewer asked the defending NBA champion, “How much are you benching now“? In reply, the 23-year-old added, “Bruh I haven’t benched in ages. Do I look like a football player to you, bro?”
