Divorced Shaquille O’Neal Slams Gisele Bundchen for Not Supporting Tom Brady After Rant on Celebrity Marriages

It’s not been a good month for Tom Brady. His team, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are not performing up to the mark and his marriage is also reportedly falling apart. His comeback to the NFL after retiring is mentioned as the reason for the tussle. But NBA Legend Shaquille O’Neal has called out Gisele Bundchen for allegedly not supporting her husband in his decision.

Brady announced his retirement at the end of last season after a historic career in the NFL. However, he did a U-turn on that and announced that he is signing for another season. His team had just won the Super Bowl two seasons ago, and he wanted to win his eighth title.

However, this seems to have backfired on his marriage. Reports suggest that Brady’s decision to go back to the NFL had caused tension between the couple. Bundchen and Brady reportedly have been spending time apart. And this has been on the news for some time now.

Shaq who heard about all this went on a rant about celebrity marriages. He said that when both people in a committed relationship are celebrities, both of them have to sacrifice. Instead, we often see celebrity couples competing with each other for superficial reasons, Shaq pointed out. Subsequently, he also said that if a football player goes back to play the game he loves, he should be allowed to go back.

Meanwhile, Shaquille O’Neal also called out Gisele Bundchen for not being assertive with Brady. He said, “I will want a wife to say, ‘Okay, baby, if you don’t win a Super Bowl this year, then not only will you retire, you’ll never play again. And if you go back on your word this time, I’ll leave.”

After that, co-host Nischelle Turner asked Shaq if he thinks Gisele should give Brady another year. In response, the Big Aristotle seemed adamant, “Yeah, support! yeah, support!”

However, Turner wanted to point out that Gisele has been supported of Brady. However, this prompted Shaq to take a shot at Bundchen. He said, “She’s not supporting him this year. I need support every year! I need support every year!”
