In 2000, the Los Angeles Lakers legend wed Shaunie Nelson. They got divorced in 2011, which was a shocker for his fans. In the most recent episode of the Big Podcast with Shaq, we can see Shaquille O’Neal, NFL veteran Spice Adams, and reporter Nischelle Turner sharing their views on the secrets of a long-term marriage.

Nischelle began the conversation by expressing her fear about internet dating. Even more, she expressed confusion about how people find love online. Shaq immediately interrupted, saying, “Internet love is not real life.”

On the same panel sits the NFL legend Anthony Adams popularly known as Spice Adams. When asked about his marriage, he stated that he had been married to Andenika Adams for more than 16 years. Spice revealed that they still have the same love as they did before. In response, Sahq added that “they have traditional love college campus.” Furthermore, Shaq justified his statement by taking the example of Spice and his wife and said that they have stayed with each other for 16 years and had babies. According to Shaq, “That’s real love.”

On the contrary, Shaq explained that Internet love entails two-three months of togetherness. After that, when things get tough the ‘lovers’ find a way to split up. The Big Aristotle doesn’t deem that kind of a relationship as real love.
