MJ’s daughter Jasmine Jordan once opened up about the experiences of being Jordan’s daughter. She currently works for her father’s company and has an important role.
However, she wasn’t given the position by default. Jasmine worked her way up the ladder to get to where she is currently. During an interview, she said, ” I didn’t come in with my last name printed out in an office and taking executive roles. I’m going to work my way to that point.”
Jasmine works as a field representative for the Nike Jordan brand and she also helped create the Air Jordan XI Heiress back in 2018. Moreover, she played a crucial role when the company expanded its roster and signed WNBA stars.
“I did a lot of research during COVID, had a lot of conversations. I got the green light in mid-2020, saying, ‘Hey, we’re about to expand our roster’ — that’s all I needed“, said Jasmine.
Thanks to such efforts from Jasmine and the brand, five WNBA stars were signed to the brand. Stars like Asia Durr, Maya Moore, and others were signed to the brand. (Source: WNBA)
