“Spider-Man: No Way Home” became a global hit and garnered over $1 billion in box office sales. Not only that, but it brought in $748.9 million at the domestic box office. The movie has been a fan favorite, and among those on the list is an NBA player, Kevin Durant is a fan and has the time to watch it, especially with the playoffs around the corner.
In the U.S. and Canada, the film was the fourth-highest grossing movie of all time, just behind “Avatar,” making it a successful movie. According to Comscore data, the movie earned $760.5 million in February.

Who can question Kevin’s decision to choose Marvel instead of DC? Four of the greatest films ever made and the top favorites of the audience are “Avatar” (2009), “Avengers: Endgame” (2019), “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” (2015), and “Avengers: Infinity War” (2018).

There is another movie around the corner that is also a hit at the box office. Robert Pattinson’s The Batman is finally in theaters and for some, it was shocking to know that Durant chose Marvel over DC. Nets star explains why he watched Spider-Man over Batman.
Brooklyn Nets star Kevin Durant explains the reason
The Brooklyn Nets have not had a great season thus far, as they are currently ranked eighth. They started the new season well but with Kyrie not being allowed to play home matches and injury to Durant; they struggled. However, it looks like they might be able to go deep in the playoffs. Kyrie Irving will now be allowed to play home games.

In the interview, he mentioned that his schedule made it impossible for him to watch any movies aside from Spiderman. Upon being asked if he watched Batman, Durant responded, “No“. He continued by saying: “I Just started watching Spiderman last night it came on Apple TV. Once they come on TV, I gonna check them up.”
His preference for watching movies on TV versus the big screen dates back When “Spider-Man” first came out, he was asked if he watched it, and he responded: “I haven’t been able to get to the theaters, I don’t know if it’s safe,” replied the 2x champion when asked if he had seen it.
