Devin Booker addresses all the Kobe Bryant slander
There is no denying that Devin Booker is one of the best players in the league currently. The Phoenix Suns star recently signed a four-year extension with his team and was chosen as the cover star for NBA 2K23. He shares the cover with Chicago Bulls legend Michael Jordan and WNBA star Sue Bird.
During an interview, Booker addressed questions regarding the cover and the league in general. The interviewer asked DBook his thoughts regarding all the Kobe Bryant criticism.
Booker said, “I see (Tatum) getting hate just representing Kobe and being inspired by him. But Kobe always said his one job is to inspire the next generation — that’s what he’s done for us.” Devin added, “I think it’s foolish for people to give hate to somebody like me or Jayson representing one of our idols.“
Alongside fans and analysts, NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal was one of the biggest names to criticize Tatum. Shaq held nothing back as he talked about Jayson on his podcast. The 4 time NBA champion asserted that the Celtics star needs to step his game up and that he was not a fan of the antics.
