The Phoenix Suns are 2 wins away from making franchise history as they come out victorious, once again against the Milwaukee Bucks. Although the Suns have received mixed opinions about their run this season, nothing seems to rattle them. And if anyone deserves credit for where they are today, it has to be Devin Booker, along with the brilliant roster around him.
Devin Booker makes his name in NBA Finals
Booker never fails to come up big when needed and that’s exactly what he did tonight. In fact, the 25-year-old is making headlines with his incredible record that has landed him on the same pedestal as some of the league’s greatest like Kobe Bryant, Russell Westbrook, and Dwyane Wade.

Booker led the way for the Suns with his 31 points, shooting 12-of-25 from the field, while also going 7-for-12 from the three-point line. Almost every time Phoenix came to this side of the court, they didn’t leave without dropping buckers. In fact, it looked like the entire team had planned on raining threes against the Bucks.
Each one of their starters finished in double-digit digits, whereas Giannis got no help from his supporting cast. Despite his 42 points and 12 rebounds, the Bucks came out on the losing end. Unless they fix this, the Milwaukee Bucks are in for a humiliating NBA Finals series.

There have been whispers about the Phoenix Suns taking advantage of their opponents because of injuries. Discussions are making rounds about whether there should be an asterisk on this season’s NBA Finals.
When they played the Lakers, the purple and gold had Anthony Davis out because of a groin injury. Next were the Denver Nuggets, who didn’t have Jamal Murray because of an ACL injury, and then the LA Clippers, who went through the entire series without Kawhi Leonard due to his knee.
But haven’t Phoenix had their share of problems as well? Booker had a brutal nose injury, with Chris Paul being benched because of Covid protocols as well. Injuries were a struggle for each team this season. So, why should the Suns apologize to anybody for how far they have come?
