Despite Spending $250K on Jewelry for Carmen Electra, $450K Worth Dennis Rodman Regretted One Particular Purchase

NBA players are among the biggest headline makers in the world. However, few former players have wild stories up their sleeves as Dennis Rodman. ‘The Last Dance’ docuseries was primarily based on Michael Jordan, but showed some of Rodman’s wild incidents too. The third episode featured Rodman’s relationship with ‘Baywatch’ star Carmen Electra. There is a crazy story of him spending $250,000 on jewelry for the actress. However, there is another purchase he regrets making in the past.

Dennis Rodman and Carmen Electra married in 1998. But the two divorced six months later. Despite a short relationship, the couple had many crazy stories together. Incidentally, Rodman once spent $250,000 to buy jewelry for Carmen while they were in France.

However, Rodman regrets another purchase he made in the past. He had bought a house in Newport Beach. However, later he wanted to sell it.

Dennis Rodman admits regretting buying a house in Newport Beach

Rodman appeared for an interview in 2019 with BroBible. During the interview, he discussed spending money to buy a house in Newport Beach.

“I do regret the house in Newport Beach. I wanted to get rid of it, but now that it’s 2019, I wish I had it back because you can’t get that kind of price on a beach these days. It went from $500,000 to $10 million and I was like ‘Damn,’” Rodman said.

However, as Rodman admitted, houses near the beach became costlier and he could have got a better deal if he had held on to the house. Rodman’s net worth is $450k and an investment worth $10 million could have been huge for the former Bulls star.

Rodman’s other relationships

Rodman had quite the dating history. His first marriage just lasted 82 days. He married Annie Bakes in 1992 after dating her for five years. The couple had a daughter named Alexis Caitlyn. However, they divorced later that year. Rodman also dated Madonna, back in 1994.

After Madonna, Rodman got into a relationship with Carmen Electra. The couple got married in 1998 but divorced after six months.

Later in 1999, he started dating Michelle Moyer and had a son with her – Dennis Jr, a college basketball player for Washington State Cougars. They got married in 2003. He also had a daughter with Moyer, Trinity Rodman. Trinity is a professional soccer player for the NWSL team, Washington Spirit.

However, Michelle filed for divorce in 2004 but reconciled for a few years before officially being divorced in 2012.
