During his appearance on the FullSend podcast last year, 5x NBA champion Dennis Rodman shared an astonishing anecdote that left listeners stunned. He spilled the beans about the time when he actually hung out with none other than Vladimir Putin himself. It all happened in Russia as well, making the story even more strange.
Rodman didn’t hold back when describing Russian nightlife. He painted a vivid picture of utter opulence and extravagance. The Worm detailed Putin’s exotic arrangements, saying, “He’s cool as f**k man. They had like 30 girls. I mean 30 f*****g hot a** Russians.” Rodman continued, “He had the hottest girls in the world, he had like 10 Bentleys. And we just rolled up to all these clubs and stuff like that.”
He further revealed how he met a girl who he described as being a “super 10, 10, 10“. Even though she admitted she wanted to spend time with Rodman, she couldn’t do that, as she had to “deal with” the Russin president. Vladimir Putin isn’t the only powerful leader the Chicago Bulls legend has spent time with, though.

A connection beyond NBA
Rodman has visited North Korea multiple times over the past decade. Be it for an exhibition game of basketball or just chilling with the Supreme Leader, Rodman has always enjoyed the hospitality shown to him. The Chicago Bulls legend even called Jong Un a “friend for life”.
Jong Un’s apparent love of the 90’s Chicago Bulls has helped create a relationship with Rodman. The 5x NBA champion has always spoken of Jong Un in high regard and even tried his best to ease the tension between the U.S. and North Korea. Moreover, in 2013, Jong Un asked for Rodman’s help in training the country’s basketball team over a period of time.
