LeBron James and Anthony Davis’ health problems have given Lakers fans plenty to worry about. James has had the flu and his lack of energy on the court has been evident. His foot has also been a topic of conversation for many. Anthony Davis’ back has plagued him and the injury reared its ugly head once again recently. Lakers head coach, Darvin Ham, has reasons to believe that both James and Davis will still be fit to play. According to him, there is no plan to sideline them from upcoming back-to-back games. He confirmed that both players have been feeling better. He added that they were much stronger than they were at the onset of the week.
James has not been able to play at the optimum level that the whole world knows and admires. Is his age finally catching up to him? Is he no longer invincible? These doubts have likely begun to creep into fans’, and perhaps even the player’s minds. However, credit must be given where credit is due. Unlike AD, LeBron James has not missed any games so far.
Davis on the other hand has a lot of expectations stacked up for him. However, the constant re-runs of his injuries and slow recovery have not permitted him to be an active player. He has missed a chunk of games ever since he joined the Lakers.
Darvin Han said there’s no plan “as of right now” to rest LeBron or AD for either of the back-to-back games. He said both are looking better and stronger than they were earlier in the week with a virus/back injury respectively.

Anthony Davis and LeBron James need to bounce back soon
LeBron James has been averaging 24 points this season, even in this scenario. His awareness of his own body made the NBA champion acknowledge his shortcomings. He has been advised to stay away from the Lakers’ practice facility owing to his sickness. A well-rested and healthy LeBron James will be required if the Lakers want to qualify for the playoffs.
The health status of Anthony Davis is equally important as well. He spoke to reporters and confirmed that his back was improving day by day. But he also told the media that he hasn’t fully recovered. Davis said his back was “killing” him, but he had to push through. He stated that he will help the team in whichever way he can to get a win.
