The new Michael Jordan movie is set to hit the screens tomorrow. After sprinkling magic with ‘Space Jam’, the movie based around Jordan’s sneaker deal with Nike continues to garner much attention before its release. Directed by the Academy Award winner Ben Affleck, the movie also involves an interesting cast of Viola Davis and Chris Tucker in lead roles. In a recent interview for the promotion of ‘Air’, a Hollywood star from the movie shared a funny story involving Michael Jordan. The 51-year-old revealed how he used his son to meet the Chicago Bulls legend.

Featuring Matt Damon and Ben Affleck in the lead, the movie will showcase the works of Sonny Vaccaro, a Nike sales executive who saw potential in young Jordan and bagged the historic sneaker deal.

Although it has been several years since MJ retired, the legacy of the Jordan brand is popular among young players and NBA athletes even today. Recently, Chris Tucker of Rush Hour fame joined Affleck and Damon to talk about the movie ‘Air’ on the Kelly Clarkson Show.

He revealed in the interview, “I know Michael”, but went on to share a hilarious story of how he used his son to meet the Bulls legend. Tucker mentioned,?“I met him years ago. I used to take my son to Santa Barbara to his camp he did for kids every year. And I was really going to see Michael myself, but I used my kid just to get there and get my autograph first”
