Kanye West has faced the wrath of the world for his actions over the past few months. One of the people who gave his opinion on the controversial rapper was Shaquille O’Neal. West and O’Neal even had a war of words on Twitter amid the Kyrie Irving controversy. However, the Los Angeles Lakers legend has shown support for West after a clip emerged online of the rapper having a conversation with paparazzi. This wasn’t the first time Shaq backed the 22-time Grammy Award-winning artist since their infamous exchange.

In the clip released by ‘The Shade Room’, West can be seen asking a photographer to stop filming him and his rumored wife as they were coming out from a tanning salon. During the conversation, Ye was seen asking the paparazzi who he worked for and whether it was fair for him to take his pictures without asking.

The conversation didn’t spiral out of control and both of them remained respectful. However, what caught everyone’s attention was the moment when West asked for a percentage of any money that was made from the paparazzi footage. He found that fact unfair. Despite having a $600 million net worth himself, O’Neal promoted West’s sentiment by sharing the clip on his Instagram stories.

While O’Neal has always been a fan of West’s music, their relationship turned sour a few months back. O’Neal had slammed the polarizing Irving for his actions in November. On the other hand, West lent his support to Kyrie amid the controversies by targeting Shaq.

Shaq quickly shut him down by asking West to get his family business in order. After this, O’Neal constantly shared posts berating West for his actions. However, over the past few weeks, his stance has eased.

O’Neal has been sharing posts that support Kanye and his contributions to the music industry. This latest clip shows O’Neal endorsing the rapper yet again.

Shaq has had trouble with paparazzi in the past

Like most celebrities, O’Neal has had his moments with the paparazzi. While his size helped him dominate opponents on a basketball court, it has had the opposite effect in public. It is almost impossible for Shaq to hide from the cameras due to his size.

However, O’Neal once hilariously tried to hide behind a tree to get away from the paparazzi. During an appearance on ‘The Late Late Show With James Corden’ in 2016, he revealed the reason for his actions. His explanation for this act was even funnier and just showed his amazing, goofy side.
