NBA legend and millionaire with a net worth of over $600 million Shaquille O’Neal recently made a confession during one of his post-game analysis shows on TNT. The Big Diesel retired from basketball a long ago, but he continues to share his experiences while talking about the game with his peers. Over the years, Shaq has shared several experiences of his career that have left the hoops world amused. Similarly, fans might be surprised once again by knowing this petty habit of the four-time NBA champion.

Shaq is very straightforward in nature. And in general, he doesn’t hesitate to speak his heart out. Likewise, recently, the now 50-year-old finally spilled the beans about a petty habit that he had during his NBA days, which he only could do because of his status.

Shaquille O’Neal revealed his petty habit during his NBA days

During an analysis session of last night’s Heat vs Thunder game on ‘NBA on TNT’, Shaq confessed his practice of going home if he got tossed out of the court during his NBA days. The group of analysts in the session were discussing the Heat’s center Dewayne Dedmon getting ejected from the court on Tuesday night for his unsportsmanlike conduct. In light of this, one of the analysts, Candace Parker asked the 15x All-Star what he did when he got tossed out from the court back then.

In reply, the Big Diesel said, “It depends on your status. I used to go home.” Shaq disclosed what he did if he got tossed out of the court. In other words, the 50-year-old used to drive back home if he got tossed out early from the court during his NBA days. This astonished the entire panel who marveled at Shaq’s influence as a player.

The Big Diesel finished off by assuming that Dedmon might have not done something similar to his petty habit. The 15x All-Star said that the Heat’s center probably had a chat with their president Pat Riley after getting ejected from the court on Tuesday night.
