The Denver Nuggets enjoyed quite a mid-season in 2020-21 when they stacked their roster with more offensive guns. Those boss moves that got Aaron Gordon & JaVale McGee into the team were crucial because they had lost Jamal Murray to an ACL tear.
Amongst the top WC teams, the Nuggets did pull a few good moves this off-season too. However, their roster is still far from making any title promises unless Ann Walton & Calvin Booth can bring in some more help to their Joker card.

Incoming players
Bones Hyland
The Nuggets’ Round 1 pick from the NBA Drafts 2021, Bones is one promising talent who has joined the roster. He recently helped the Nuggets win consecutive summer league games even as they completed 2-3. That show of character can take him a long way.
Markus Howard
The Nuggets have not lost much as they recently re-signed Markus Howard in a 2-way deal. The undrafted Marquette player does not come with a very shiny resume, but he can still hope for better playing time.
Jeff Green
In a starry trade, the Nuggets signed Brooklyn Nets’ Jeff Green on a 2-year $10 million deal with a player option in the second. Denver would be the league veteran’s 11th stop in his 14-year NBA career and possibly his last. With the Nets, the big forward player had a great season as he averaged 11 points at 41.2% from the three-point line.

Outgoing players
The franchise wishes to have someone covering up for Jamal Murray if the star does not come back early in 2021. Now, for that, they might get into a deal with the Hornets and bring in Terry Rozier. If it happens, players like Will Barton and Nah’Shon Hyland can see the exit gate in the coming time. Moreover, they’ve lost JaVale McGee‘s free agency to the Phoenix Suns in a major blow.
