Dennis Rodman was part of some of the greatest teams of all time. Early in his career, he was part of the Bad Boy Pistons where he won two titles in a row. Later, he joined the Chicago Bulls to form a Big three with Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen. They had a very successful tenure as they won three titles in a row.
Last year, Netflix released a documentary called The Last Dance which covered the last season of the Chicago Bulls’ Big three in 1998. The main emphasis of the show was Michael Jordan. The show received critical acclamation and won several awards. It showed what Jordan had throughout his entire career and documented the end of the Bulls Dynasty.

However, not everyone was pleased with how the show portrayed Jordan and others. One of them was his longtime teammate, Scottie Pippen. He was disappointed with how he was portrayed and how Jordan was glorified and uplifted his status as the GOAT. Dennis Rodman, their teammate was recently asked about the rift between Jordan and Pippen.
To that Rodman said “ I just think Scottie is so hurt because he wants to get that recognition with Michael, cause he grew up with Michael, that whole 11 years, they played together. And he wanted the fact that Mike had got $10 million for that documentary. He got nothing.”

Jordan was drafted in the third overall in the 1984 draft. Meanwhile, Pippen was selected fifth overall in the 1987 draft. Jordan quickly became one of the best players in the league and he was the face of the NBA. However, he did not enjoy team success as he was defeated by the Pistons for three years in a row.
With the arrival of Pippen, they quickly formed a formidable duo, overcame that roadblock in Scotties’ second year, and won three titles in a row.
